Emmie's Rambings
Nothing to show in regards to my stitching. I'm officially a single mom for the next two weeks. DH is on a work trip to Tokyo, Japan. The credit card company has already called this morning with strange transactions. I had to wake him up to make sure the $2,800 USD transaction was a real one.....(it was his hotel for the whole stay)!!! What did I ask for as a souvenir? Why something HELLO KITTY of course! We'll see what he comes up with! Have a Happy Sunday!

good luck these two weeks, maybe stitching can give you relax-moments.
I see you're stitching on a Thanksgiving piece, so my christmas stitching in January wasn't that odd I guess.
I'm jealous!!! One of my dreams is to go to Tokyo. Hope he has a nice stay and a safe trip home!
Thank you so much for the award Nicola, just need to work out how to post it on my blog now. I;m another person who could just live in their pj's all day.
Your Give Thanks is looking great.
Happy Stitching!
Nicola,
Enjoy your 2 weeks of stitching heaven especially with this cold weather in central texas it's perfect sewing weather. I am a quilter but have recently been enticed to start cross stitching again but can't find anywhere locally that carries supplies, where do you find them?
Nanci,
I get my supplies at Ginger's Needlearts. They are off IH 35 and the 51st exit in Austin. They also have a small quilting section. If you like I can look up the physical address for you. Also there is a Needlepoint store in Central Austin where you can buy thread/ beads and such. They are called The Needle Works. Good Luck!
